Hyundai is gearing up to shake up the compact SUV segment once again! The 2025 Hyundai Venue is officially set to launch in India on October 24, 2025, bringing a fresh design, premium features, and the same trusted engine lineup that Indian buyers love.
The current-generation Hyundai Venue, launched in 2019 and facelifted in 2022, has been a popular choice among compact SUV fans. Now, spy shots of the next-gen Venue have revealed some exciting changes.
Hyundai Venue: Bold New Design – Inside and Out
The upcoming Venue is going for a boxier and bolder look compared to the current model. Up front, expect a split LED headlight setup in a square housing and a rectangular grille inspired by the Hyundai Alcazar, giving it a stronger road presence. Interestingly, front parking sensors — a first for the Venue — were spotted on test mules, hinting at improved convenience and safety.
SUV Stance Gets Stronger
From the side, the SUV will feature chunkier wheel arches, redesigned alloy wheels, and a more rugged profile. At the rear, the connected LED tail lamps will stay but get a refreshed design.
Premium Cabin & Features
While the interior hasn’t been fully revealed, Hyundai is expected to completely redesign the dashboard for a more modern, upmarket feel. A major highlight could be the addition of dual 12.3-inch screens (one for infotainment, one for the driver’s display) — a first for a Hyundai in India.
- Panoramic sunroof
- Ventilated front seats
- 4-way powered driver’s seat
- Wireless charging
- Automatic climate control with rear vents
On the safety front, expect 6 airbags (standard), TPMS, a 360-degree camera, and an upgraded Level-2 ADAS suite.
Engines – Proven & Powerful
The 2025 Venue is likely to retain the current three-engine lineup:
| Engine Type | Power | Torque | Transmission |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.2L NA Petrol | 83 PS | 114 Nm | 5-speed MT |
| 1.0L Turbo Petrol | 120 PS | 172 Nm | 6-speed MT / 7-speed DCT |
| 1.5L Diesel | 116 PS | 250 Nm | 6-speed MT (possible 6-speed AT) |
Hyundai may also offer the diesel variant with a 6-speed torque converter automatic, similar to its Kia Sonet sibling.
Expected Price & Rivals
The new-generation Venue is expected to be priced slightly higher than the current range of ₹7.94 lakh to ₹13.62 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will go head-to-head with the Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Skoda Kylaq, and Kia Syros.
Mark your calendars — October 24, 2025 — the all-new Hyundai Venue is coming!
