SS Rajamouli: Gali Janardhan Reddy’s son, Kireeti Reddy, is making his acting debut as a hero with the film ‘Junior’, starring Sreeleela as the female lead and Genelia D’Souza in a pivotal role. Produced by Sai Korrapati under the banner of Varahi Chalana Chitram, the movie is set to hit theaters on July 18.

The grand pre-release event was held in Hyderabad with SS Rajamouli gracing the occasion as the chief guest. During the event,

Eega is the greatest film of my career. During the filming of RRR, I even recreated an old photo with Jr NTR at the ‘Student No.1’ location. At first, people thought I could only make mass films, but with ‘Sai’, I demonstrated I could also handle youthful stories.

“When Sai Korrapati started this project, I thought it was a small film with a good story. But as the cast grew—Sreeleela, Genelia, Ravi Chandar—and with music by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Senthil Kumar, and fights choreographed by Peter Hein, it became a big film. The movie will release in over 1000 screens, which shows the audience’s excitement.”
