“KINGDOM”- Does this film reverse Vijay Devarakonda’s downward trajectory?
Certainly, Vijay and his followers were eagerly looking for a break in the chain of failures at the box office with this movie. Directed by Gautham Tinnanuri and produced by a busy banner in Tollywood, i.e., “Sitara entertainments”, expectations are sky high, and they have a golden chance to take advantage next weekend. Especially with some off-the-track movies like “LIGER”, “World Famous Lover”, Vijay Devarakonda looks down but not out. This movie has numerous positives, including Gautham’s innovative approach to filmmaking, which has been evident in his work on “Jersey” and films produced by Sitara Entertainment over time. Their banner attained a status of a “minimum guarantee” in Tollywood, and their track record proves it.
Many reports from the movie unit mention the transformation of Vijay, and the performance he delivered would be the talk of the town. The majority of the movie was shot in Sri Lanka, and recently, producer S. Naga Vamsi confirmed in an interview with “Great Andhra Murthy” that essential scenes were shot on a “Private Island” near Vizag. The star cast of this movie consists of versatile actors Satya Dev and Bhagyasree Borse as the lead actors.
The music was handled by the golden hand, “Anirudh Ravichander,” and reports suggest that the songs and background score would stand out. The buzz looks impressive, and with these promising young talents, collaboration gives positive vibes. This film could be a turning point in Vijay Deverakonda’s career and the industry, trade looks very much interested in this massive budget film, which went over 130 crores in production.
